I’m Kacau Sampaio, a journalist, communicator, and independent researcher. Throughout my career, I’ve experienced the behind-the-scenes work of mainstream media around the globe and realized how much communication shapes the way we see the world. It was this experience that led me to choose a path: offering a critical and conscious reading of the discourses that surround us.

My passion for semiotics, discourse analysis, mass communication theories, and symbology was born from the need to understand the mechanisms behind information—and today it has become a mission. I believe we can only be truly free when we learn to read the world beyond words and apparent images.

Here, I share reflections, studies, and analyses that combine journalism, pop culture, history, music, and behavior. I want to help you develop a more attentive and critical eye, so that no symbol, hidden message, or manipulative strategy goes unnoticed.
